1. How is spelt better than synthetic pillows?

Unlike foam or polyester fibers, which flatten and trap heat, spelt husks are a natural, breathable filling. They provide stable support that does not sag during the night, ensuring consistent support for your neck. Their airy structure allows for natural temperature regulation, wicking away moisture and heat for a consistently cool sleep.

2. Is a spelt pillow noisy when you move?

Spelt husks make a slight natural rustling sound when handled. This discreet sound is often compared to soothing "white noise" that resembles the sounds of nature. The vast majority of users get used to it within one or two nights and find this rustling texture very relaxing, helping them fall into a deeper sleep.

5. How do I maintain my Gaia Greener pillow over time?

For impeccable hygiene, the pillow is completely removable. After emptying the filling, the Oeko-Tex certified cotton cover can be machine-washed at 30°C. To refresh the spelt husks, we recommend airing them out in the sun once a year. The included carrying bag allows you to protect it effectively while traveling or storing it.
